I am posting my results below to discuss something that I asked about before and I was told that it was not possible.
Can I pass smog with donwpipes and testpipes on !?I am confident that I would have passed smog for sure without the inconvenience of swaping my test pipes for my cats, considering that my NO was way below the allowed levels. HC was 16 ppm at 15 mph and 13 ppm at 25 mph, max allowed 108, 83 ppm. Average is 31 and 20 ppm. CO was 0.03% for both speeds, max allowed 0.71 and 0.58%. Average is 0.10 and 0.09%. NO was 30 ppm at 15 mph and 0 ppm at 25 mph, max allowed is 767 abd 706 ppm. Average is 237 and 199 ppm. All the numbers were way below the average of tested cars for all 3 items. The test was performed at a test only station as required by the DMV.
